The Fort Mason Community Garden is a 501(C)3 Non-Profit Organization and all donations are tax deductible. We have received donations over the years that have not only helped to defray maintenance costs but also allowed us to upgrade our facilities. This includes our information kiosk, the wooden picnic table and a bench or two.

At the Garden Gala in October 2007 seed monies for our new Native Plant Walk were generated through donations made to our silent auction, but much more is needed. We have budgeted $3000 this year. Won't it be grand when you can stroll the hummingbird garden, edible native plant section and view the flowering of native plants year round! We are also planning an education kiosk and seating area in this area with wheelchair access.

Not too far off we will need to rebuild our lathe house as well and are planning on adding some interior guard rails.

So with all of this, you can see that our membership dues cannot cover it all. We look for support from our membership and the general public who frequent this little paradise and appreciate the efforts of our organic gardeners.
